US President Joe Biden publicly acknowledged his seventh of his grandchildren for the first time in a statement to People magazine on Friday. It’s about the four-year-old Navy, the illegitimate daughter of Hunter Biden.

Four-year-old Navy is the daughter of Hunter Biden from a relationship with Lunden Roberts of Arkansas. It’s not a political issue, it’s a family issue. Jill (first lady USA – ed.) and I only want what’s best for all our grandchildren, including the Navy – said Biden, quoted by “People” magazine.

For not officially admitting to his granddaughter, the president was often criticized not only by Republicans, but also by Democrats.

Hunter Biden’s paternity was determined by a DNA test

Hunter Biden initially denied paternity of the child, born in 2018, but this was confirmed by a DNA test conducted as part of a lawsuit filed by Lunden Roberts. After his paternity was formally confirmed in March 2020, the president’s son agreed to pay child support of $20,000 a month. In September 2022, he applied for a reduction in child support, arguing that he had reduced his income. Roberts filed an objection and at the same time asked the Arkansas court to change the child’s surname to Biden. She later withdrew from this last request.

In June 2023, Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts agreed to settle the dispute and reached a settlement, all details of which have not been disclosed.
