Sean Combs, better known under the pseudonyms Puff Daddy, P. Diddy and Diddy, was sued in connection with an alleged sexual assault he committed in 1991, reports the BBC. The lawsuit was filed on Thursday. Last week, the rapper reached a court agreement in another case – with R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, who accused him of rape and violence.

According to the BBC, American Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on Thursday in the New York Supreme Court. In it, the woman accuses the musician of drugging her, sexual assault and distributing pornographic materials with her participation without her knowledge. These events allegedly took place in 1991. Combs and Dickerson-Neal allegedly met through mutual friends. They were also scheduled to appear in a music video together.

The content of the lawsuit, verified and described by the BBC, indicates that on January 3, the woman “reluctantly” agreed to the offer of a date with Combs. The meeting was to take place in a New York restaurant where Dickerson-Neal was employed. During it, the rapper allegedly “pressed her to keep him company while he ran some errands in the city.” Then he allegedly drugged the plaintiff.

Rapper “Diddy” with further allegations

According to the same BBC report, the drugs allegedly administered by Combs allegedly reduced Dickerson-Neal to a state in which she was “unable to stand or move on her own.” According to the content of the lawsuit quoted by the BBC, in this condition the woman was to be transported to the place where the rapper sexually assaulted her. He was to secretly film its course and show the recording to other people later. The attack allegedly caused Dickerson-Neal to suffer mental problems and drop out of college.

Dickerson-Neal’s lawsuit was filed just hours before the expiration of a New York state law that allows adult victims of sex crimes to file lawsuits after the statute of limitations expires. “Our client was unable to distance herself from the continuing effects of the harm that Mr. Combs caused her many years ago. Thanks to the statute, she was able to go to court to finally seek justice,” said Jonathan Goldhirsch, one of the lawyers, in a statement quoted by the BBC. women lawyers.

According to legal representative Sean Combs, “the last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned upside down.” – Mrs. Dickerson-Neal’s story from 32 years ago is made up and unbelievable – said the lawyer, adding that he sees the lawsuit only as an “attempt to extort money.”

As we informed, on the basis of the same provisions, in recent days the defendants have also been sued, among others: Oscar winner Jamie Foxxor Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose, and former US president Donald Trumpcomedian Bill Cosby or actor Russell Brand.
