A military plane crashed on Sunday in the small town of Lake Worth, Texas. According to local authorities, only two pilots were seriously injured. They both ejected, but one’s parachute got tangled in the power line.
The US Navy T-45 Goshawk military jet crashed during a routine training flight.
“We were extremely lucky that the plane fell into the courtyards, not the buildings themselves,” said a representative of the fire department. However, three houses were damaged and three of their inhabitants suffered minor injuries requiring only treatment.
Both pilots managed to eject. One is in critical condition
Both pilots managed to eject before the machine crashed to the ground. One of them parachute got tangled in power lines. Both airmen sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospitals in Dallas and Fort Worth. One of the pilots is in critical condition.
It is not known yet what caused the accident.
