The Supreme Court upheld the lower court's ruling rejected the appeal of the platform owners and some users. The justification states that for millions of TikTok users, it is a platform for expression, engagement and community creation. But Congress decided it was necessary taking into account security threats related to the mass collection of personal data by the Chinese and spying.
