Seven people were killed and eight were injured as a result of a road accident in the American state of Idaho near the Yellowstone National Park – said the Reuters and BBC agency. Almost all fatalities are foreigners.

A road accident occurred on Thursday evening (local time) on the highway leading to the Yellowstone Park. A minibus carrying 14 tourists collided with a vitage. Both vehicles came on. The causes of the accident are unknown – the Reuters agency said on Friday.
Fatal victims are six people who were in a minibus and a virgin driver who was alone in the vehicle. The remaining eight passengers of the minibus were taken to hospitals with injuries of various degrees.

Coroner of Fremont, Brenda Dye, said “The New York Times” that he was waiting for the results of DNA tests to identify six fatalities. She added that all six came from outside the USA. Two people came from Italy.
China General in San Francisco confirmed that five citizens of this country were killed in the accident and eight were injured.
It is unclear why there was a discrepancy between the numbers given by Chinese officials and the data of the Fremont Fremon Coroner.
The British BBC broadcaster said that the 25-year-old virgin driver was a resident of the state of Texas.
Flames and clouds of smoke near the heavyweight wreck
Idaho Brad Little's state governor wrote on platform X that he “prays for the victims of the accident.” “Idaho's state works closely with local authorities to determine what led to this terrible tragedy,” said the official.
The photo, taken by a witness of the tragedy, shows flames and clouds of smoke near the virling wreck. They were made by a resident of the area, Roger Merrill. The man returned home when he saw it – BBC said
Both vehicles stood on fire – said Merrill, quoted by the BBC. – Accident witnesses of the event tried to help the highway on the side of the road – he added. “This is a very dangerous highway because it leads to the Yellowstone park,” Merrill added. “She is very crowded,” he continued.
Closed road
The BBC said that the road on which the collision occurred was closed for at least seven hours.
The oldest Yellowstone National Park in the United States covers an area of almost 9,000 square kilometers and covers three states: Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. On average, four million tourists come to this place every year – BBC said.
