In the vicinity of Ustronie Morskie (West Pomeranian Voivodeship), a drunk truck driver drove into the back of a bus carrying 11 people. Four people were injured, including one seriously. The truck driver was stopped and his driving license was taken from him.
As reported by the senior captain Krzysztof Azierski, the press officer of the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kołobrzeg, after 7 there was an accident on the route Podczele – Ustronie Morskie.
– The truck crashed into the back of the bus. As a result of the collision, four people were injured. Three do not require hospitalization, they were checked on the spot. One person with head injuries was taken by ambulance to hospital, the firefighter said. A total of 11 people traveled by bus.
The truck driver had to be cut out of the cabin with specialized devices. After checking his sobriety, it turned out that he was drunk. – Has 2 per mille of alcohol in his body. He is at the headquarters, he will be imprisoned for clarification. His driving license was taken from him – Sergeant Major Karolina Seemann from the District Police Headquarters in Kołobrzeg told us.
Driving on the road is difficult. The services recommend a detour through Bagicz and Podczele.
