The police are looking for a person who put a dog in a bag and abandoned it in the forest in Zarzecze in Podkarpacie. A walker came across the frightened animal and reported the matter to the police. The uniforms found the puppy a home the same day. Now they are appealing to witnesses of the incident or people who recognize the dog to report to the police station in Nisko.
On Sunday (March 26), after 10 am, the duty officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Nisko received a report from a woman who came across an abandoned dog while walking in the forest in Zarzecze (Nisko poviat). A police patrol was dispatched to the spot.
They carried the dog out of the forest in their arms and found him a home
– After reaching the place, the officers noticed a plastic bag tied at the top, which contained a small dog. The policemen carefully and calmly approached the frightened four-legged dog, which was initially aggressive towards them. The uniforms patiently tamed the pet, which they carried out of the forest in their arms after a while – reports staff sergeant Katarzyna Pracało, press officer of the police in Nisko.
As the uniformed officer reported, the officers with the duty officer organized a safe place for the animal. – On the same day, thanks to the effective uniform action, the abandoned dog found a new owner who, moved by his fate, offered him permanent care – says staff sergeant Katarzyna Pracało.
The police are appealing for the identification of the perpetrator
Now the police are looking for the person or people who abandoned the animal in the forest.
