The cybersecurity team at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF CSIRT) warns against scammers who post false advertisements with information about the possibility of receiving compensation for vaccination.

CSIRT KNF posted a warning on social media. “Cybercriminals are posting false advertisements with information about the possibility of receiving compensation for vaccination,” we read on Twitter.

It added that to authenticate their actions, scammers use the image National Health Fund and the Ministry of Health, “and in fact they are phishing for payment card data.”

“Be cautious!” – appealed.

Internet scams and fake sites

Cybercriminals do not stop in their activities. We reported on several campaigns in which they impersonate large banks. Cybercriminals have created advertisements in which they use the image of Santander Bank Polskaleading to “dangerous sites”.

PKO BP issued a warning last week against scammers who try to steal customer data. Cybercriminals publish advertisements on social networks encouraging people to invest in PKOCoin.

Recently, mBank warned against thieves when criminals used its image by sending e-mails with information about the confirmation of the alleged SWIFT payment. Earlier, the KNF CSIRT warned that fraudsters were using the image of Bank BNP Paribas.
