Those who have delayed vaccination against COVID-19, as well as those who can already take a booster or supplementary dose, can come to the facility.
In mid-September, they suspended their activities because there was a shortage of people willing to vaccinate, now they will work again. In Poznań, from September 25, it will be possible to vaccinate at a point at the Poznań International Fair. It is the largest vaccination center in Wielkopolska. On its website, the Clinical Hospital of the Transfiguration of the Lord’s Medical University of Karol Marcinkowski in Poznań, who has been coordinating the operation of the facility at MTP from the very beginning.
“Vaccinations can be enrolled in people who have been referred to the system – both for vaccination with a booster dose (the so-called +0+ group, people over 50 after 6 months after the 2nd dose of the vaccine), a supplementary dose (people with immunodeficiency), and 1st and 2nd doses of the vaccination cycle “- it was written in the release. As the TVN24 reporter found out, 100 people have already signed up for the injection on Saturday.
Doctors encourage vaccinations
There are also plenty of people willing to get a booster dose at the Hospital. Franciszek Raszeja in Poznań. There, the first people will be vaccinated with the third dose today. – At 3 p.m. the first volunteer will appear. We will be vaccinating this group today until 8pm. It is worth getting vaccinated so that we can live a normal life. So that we can protect ourselves from getting sick. That we would protect our health, but also our loved ones – says Eryk Matuszkiewicz, hospital spokesman, TVN24.
But doctors are encouraging registration not only from those who already have two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine behind them. The doors of the institutions are also still open to those who have not yet decided to take this step or have not had the opportunity.
Who is the third dose for?
Third dose of COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for healthcare professionals and people over 50. The preparation can be taken 6 months after the previous vaccination. Referrals for the third dose are to be automatically issued according to PESEL numbers when a given person has passed six months from full vaccination. Registration started today. How can you sign up? The same way as for the first dose and the second dose. There are several possibilities.
– These are communication channels well known to patients. You can call 989 and register for vaccination using this toll-free helpline. The second way is to send a text message to the number 664 908 556 saying “we vaccinate”. The third option is records via the patient’s online account. You can also make an appointment in person or by phone at a specific vaccination point – reports Nadia Jóźwiak, TVN24 reporter.
People who request a booster dose will receive Comirnaty Pfizer-BioNTech, no matter what vaccine they have taken before.
813 new infections
