The car has the traditional papal color, swivel seat, heated seat passenger and handlewhich the pope can use to maintain balance, standing in the vehicle.
Work on the car lasted a year. Specialists from three European Mercedes teams took part, adapting the vehicle to the specific needs of Pope Francis and the function he performs. The car's drive is special adapted to slow passages the Pope, during which he greets the faithful.
