Viktor Orban thunders that such media received millions to promote ideas contrary to Hungarian interest. In fact, they are salt in the eye for him, because they revealed many scandals in which his people were involved. The Hungarian government is preparing the “law on the protection of national sovereignty”.
Viktor Orban is trying to eliminate the remnant of the media critical against him. He wants to cut off funding from abroad. It's mainly about USAID money. The United States Agency for International Development was in the crosshairs of Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Viktor Orban tries to use a change in power in America for his purposes.
– We found several channels through which Hungarian media and organizations were given to hundreds of millions of forints through USAID. You have to discover the whole truth. That is why the government appoints a special commissioner for this purpose – said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in the parliament.
