Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Jacek Ozdoba interrupted the press conference of former foreign minister Radosław Sikorski on Friday in Łódź. A PiS politician tried to give him a T-shirt of the German football team with the inscription “Gazprom”. After a short argument and Ozdoba’s intrusion into the microphones, an outraged Sikorski left his own conference. This is not the first time that a PiS deputy minister interrupts an opposition briefing in a similar way.
Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Jacek Ozdoba interrupted a press conference on Friday Radosław Sikorski. Former head of diplomacy from KO referred to the visa scandal in Łódź, saying, among other things, that “if Poland sells a Schengen visa, it directly affects the interests of other members and vice versa”.
At one point, the course of the conference was disrupted by the deputy head of the Ministry of Climate. Jacek Ozdoba came to the opposition briefing, and when Radosław Sikorski noticed his presence, he encouraged them to “explain” the “visa trade”.

Deputy Minister Ozdoba had no intention of responding to Sikorski. Instead, he said he had a gift for the opposition politician. He held a blue T-shirt in his hand, which he showed to the gathered journalists. This is a T-shirt of the German football team Schalke 04 with the Gazprom logo until the first days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was the team’s main sponsor.
There was a tense exchange of words between the politicians. It is difficult to hear every statement because Sikorski and Ozdoba spoke at the same time and shouted over each other.
– They sell Polish visas, explain yourself. How much money did you charge for Polish visas? Where is Ministry of Justice? Why is the prosecutor’s office not working yet? You have to fight against the trade in Polish visas – you can hear, among others, the words of Radosław Sikorski.

His questions were drowned out by Ozdoba repeating: “Mr. Radek, calm down.” – Your pupils are terribly dilated. What’s going on with you? Why do you have such strange eyes? Calm down, said Ozdoba. After a while, he tried to “try” the T-shirt he brought on Sikorski. However, the former foreign minister rejected the politician’s hand PIS. – Excuse me – Sikorski said loudly. The ornament kept saying it was a gift. The entire brawl took place in front of the microphones of several editorial offices.
Ozdoba lost Sikorski’s voice
Sikorski backed away, repeating to Ozdoba that he was not invited to the press conference and should leave it. – Please move away – Sikorski said twice.
Meanwhile, the deputy minister of climate, taking advantage of the free space in front of the stands, stepped in front of the microphones and turned to the journalists, pointing his finger at Sikorski: “ladies and gentlemen, you have before you a man who is responsible for the most pro-Russian government in the history of the Third Polish Republic.”

At one point, the deputy minister’s monologue was interrupted by a representative of KO, who, shooing Ozdoba away with her hand, reminded her that it was a press conference between former minister Radosław Sikorski and candidate for MP Aleksandra Wiśniewska from KO. Then she turned to PiS politicians: “Ladies and gentlemen, you were not invited to the conference, please leave and do not disturb the conference.” During this time, Ozdoba continued shouting accusations at Sikorski.
The deputy minister pushed the KO MP
This is not the first time that Deputy Minister Ozdoba disrupts a press conference of Civic Coalition politicians. In July, a PiS politician came to a briefing of opposition MPs in Wołomin and drowned out the conference hosts, he tried to take center stage in front of the microphones, and eventually even pushed MP Jan Grabiec.

Earlier, PiS and Sovereign Poland politicians also disrupted three conferences PO MPs regarding high earnings in State Treasury companies. Ruling party spokesman Rafał Bochenek and deputy minister of agriculture Janusz Kowalski they covered the conference participants with cardboard images of former and current PO politicians and also tried to take away the microphone from the MPs.
