The District Court in Głubczyce (Opole Province) temporarily arrested a 62-year-old youth volleyball team coach on Friday. The man allegedly molested two girls.
As reported by Anna Panasińska, District Prosecutor in Głubczyce, the investigation is being conducted in connection with Article 200 paragraph 1 of the Penal Code, which deals with sexual activities against persons under 15 years of age.
He was charged with two offences
As reported by prosecutor Stanisław Bar, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Opole, the suspect was charged with two counts of sexual harassment of two girls under the age of 15. The court agreed with the prosecutor's motion, finding a high probability of committing the act and agreed to apply a preventive measure in the form of three-month arrest.
The investigation is ongoing. The case may be developing, investigators do not rule out that there may be other victims of the man. The suspect faces 15 years in prison. Due to the nature of the investigation, the prosecutor's office refuses to provide further information about the investigation and potential victims.
