President Volodymyr Zelensky recalled the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Zvarych, the press service of the Ukrainian head of state reported on Friday. The diplomat – as reported – will now take up a post in the Czech Republic.

Wasyl Zwarycz was appointed ambassador Ukraine in Poland on February 8, 2022, and submitted his credentials on July 14, 2022.

He graduated from the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Ivan Franko we Lviv. He has worked in the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1999.

Before taking up the post of Ukrainian ambassador in Warsaw, he was the first secretary in this institution, and then deputy head of mission.

He is 47 years old, married, has two sons and a daughter.
