On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is to arrive in Warsaw. His visit will last one day. Marcin Przydacz, head of the president’s Office of International Policy, said that “the talks will cover the entire spectrum of Polish-Ukrainian relations.” He announced that the joint speech of the presidents, which will be public, will take place at 6 p.m. at the Royal Castle.
As previously reported by representatives of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit will last one day, and the first lady Olena Zelenska will also come to Poland with her husband.
Przydacz: the talks will cover the entire spectrum of Polish-Ukrainian relations
He informed about the details of this visit during Tuesday’s briefing Marcin Przydaczhead of the President’s Office of International Policy.
– After the official welcome at the Palace, the two presidents talk face-to-face. Then (there will be) talks in delegations, talks will cover the entire spectrum of Polish-Ukrainian relations, starting, of course, with security issues – he said.
– The subject of security policy will naturally dominate, but we want these talks to concern other important topics from the point of view of Poland’s interests – he continued.
He added that the talks will also concern economic cooperation. – The talks will concern further political dialogue, but they will also concern many issues that have been sensitive issues in Polish-Ukrainian relations for many recent years – continued the presidential minister.
– The president, together with President Zelensky, will hold a press conference and will share the findings of these talks – added Przydacz.
– What is important in this visit, and it is happening at the request of the Ukrainian side, but of course with the consent of President Duda, is a joint speech by the presidents of Poland and Ukraine of a public nature. This speech will take place in the evening, at 6 p.m. at the Royal Castle, Przydacz informed.
