The election result is clear and after the arrangements and declarations of the leaders, we now have a clear situation that Donald Tusk will be the prime minister – said Waldemar Pawlak, senator-elect, former prime minister and former president of PSL, in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. He commented on the words of the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, about the talks between PiS and PSL about the government.
Pawlak referred on Friday in “Fakty po Faktach” to the words of the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek, who claims that PIS talks to politicians PSL on the common government coalition. He was asked if Czarnek had talked to him about this.
“He didn’t talk to me,” he replied. The former president of PSL added that he last talked to Czarnek two years ago. – Speaking half-jokingly, half seriously, you can say that if he had met a little more often and listened to advice, he would not have made so many dramatic, tragic mistakes in the ministry – said Pawlak.
– And now this is the swan song for leaving, because the result elections is clear and after these arrangements and declarations of the leaders, we now have a clear situation that Donald Tusk will be the prime minister – added the former leader of the People’s Party.

Pawlak: the situation requires tough guys and tough women in the government
He was also asked about the state of the budget and economy and whether the opposition would find funds to finance its promises.
– The budget situation is very difficult. The current government has divided the budget into many institutions around the government, said Pawlak. – We have seventeen ministries, the eighteenth is the prime minister’s office, we have 3,024 subordinate and supervised units. This is something unimaginable, he added.
When asked whether the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki knows how much money is at stake, Pawlak replied: – I think he doesn’t know, it was so spontaneous that Prime Minister Morawiecki may not be aware of it.
– A large part of it went to PFR (Polish Development Fund), to various types of funds, institutes, units created especially for subsequent PiS principalities – he said. In his opinion, “it will be a huge problem how to manage such a devastated administration.”
The senator-elect also referred to the issue of KPO funds that Poland has not yet received.
– According to my knowledge, there is a high risk that a large part of the KPO funds have already been allocated and contracted. What Donald Tusk is dealing with in the European Union may mean that later we will see agreements that PFR has already signed. These will be PiS projects, often megalomaniacal investments. Managing this situation requires substantive tough men and women in the government who will be able to manage it, said Pawlak.
