Lech Walesa as a politician, he had to follow the rules of etiquette and adapt his attire to the occasion. Most often, he chose elegant shirts and suits, of course not forgetting the symbols of “Solidarity”. However, the president has been in a well-deserved retirement for years and does not have to attach so much importance to his attire. Recently, our former head of state went to church in an unusual shirt.

The photos were published by the daily “Fakt”. Our reporter Karolina Sobocińska decided to ask the stylist and image specialist – Karolina Kotas whether this is an appropriate outfit for Sunday Mass. In her opinion, the entire look is good and coherent and “doesn't stir up as much controversy as his political views.” – I'll start by saying that the shirt is clean, neat, ironed. And that's a big plus. I rate the president's whole image positively – well-styled hair, the whole styling is coherent – she began.
As for the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe – why shouldn't he wear such a shirt? If he is a religious person, which he has emphasized many times in his statements, then by wearing such a shirt, he additionally declares it. Considering that freedom of opinion and choice applies in Poland, the same applies to Lech Wałęsa and he can wear whatever clothes he wants and likes – also with religious images. In my opinion, this styling of President Wałęsa does not arouse as much controversy as his political views.

Lech Wałęsa, although he has not been an active politician for years, is very active in the media. The former president recently published a rather disturbing entry. He began it with rather disturbing words, where he addressed his “people”. “People, my people, listen to me. I am ending my existence in this world, I have no business,” he wrote on Facebook. In the following lines of the post, he decided to refer to the work of the current government. Wałęsa did not hide the fact that he was not favorable to the previous government and decided to comment in telling words on the current actions of the prime minister and the minister of justice. “So, on your knees, fellow countrymen, let us thank providence that once again in history we have wonderful presenters for difficult times. Such as Tusk or Bodnar. Let us thank them and let us not disturb them in such a stupid way, by nagging them that they do not fulfill their promises. Reasoning fairly, why do they not fulfill them? Surely they would like to” – he commented.
