US President Joe Biden, quoted by the Times of Israel on Sunday, announced that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip would be concluded immediately after Hamas released the hostages.

– Israel said it was up to Hamas. If they want to do it, we could end it tomorrow, Biden said, referring to attempts to reach a truce in the Gaza war.
