It was the first to report the matter National Anticorruption Bureau Ukrainy (NABU). In a statement sent to the media, it was stated that the searches had been carried out simultaneously in several places in the territory Polish i Ukraine.

“Searches were carried out as part of the case regarding possible purchase of weapons at inflated prices in the period from April 2022 to February 2023. This became possible thanks to the cooperation of NABU, the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the department for combating criminal terrorism and homicides of the Capital Police Headquarters of the Republic of Poland as part of the international legal assistance mechanism,” it was reported.

The actions of officers and investigators are aimed at examining the complete supply chain and verification of reports of artificial price increases.

“The collected evidence will be used by NABU detectives to make a legal assessment of the actions. The investigation is currently ongoing. The management of the Ministry of National Defense actively supports the National Office in conducting criminal proceedings,” it was emphasized.
