Up to 250-300 drones at the same time

Previously a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Ukraine Ivan Pavlenko, in an interview for the Ukrainska Pravda website, said that the use of drones by Russian forces has increased to such an extent that there are 250-300 of them at the same time on some sections of the front.

As he emphasized, most foreign experts did not predict such a massive use of drones in modern warfare in 2022. Their popularity can, in his opinion, be justified by the relatively low production cost and high functionality. At the same time, the importance of electronic warfare has increased, noted Pavlenko, who heads the department for electronic warfare and digital security in the General Staff.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces carried out a successful attack on Tuesday morning on a Russian forces drone base in the occupied town of Luhansk in the Donetsk Oblast in the east of the country.

A day earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the downing of 12 Shahed-136/131 drones released by Russian troops and one drone of an unidentified type.
