War in Ukraine. Russian pilot and his Mi-8 helicopter lured by Ukrainian intelligence – media

Intelligence lured a Russian pilot to Ukraine with a helicopter, Ukrainian Pravda reported. According to the portal, Ukraine’s military intelligence conducted a successful special operation, as a result of which the pilot of the Russian Mi-8 helicopter was forced to land in the Kharkiv region.

The Ukrainian intelligence operation was prepared for over half a year. Together with the pilot, there were two crew members on board the machine, who did not know where they were going, the portal reported.

After landing in the territory Ukraine the people accompanying the pilot were “liquidated” – reported Ukrainian Pravda, citing “representatives of high-level military intelligence”.

Currently, the pilot and his family are in Ukraine, wrote the Ukrainian Pravda portal. The Russian Mi-8 helicopter is already in Kiev.

The machine carried elements of the equipment of Russian Su-27 and Su-30SM fighters. These components were intended for the aggressor’s army, but they ended up in our country, Ukrainian Pravda reported.
