About the very difficult situation of the Armed Forces Ukrainy in Donbas informed head of the military administration of the city of Pokrovsk Serhiy DobryjakThe official confirmed that Russian soldiers had approached the outskirts of the city in recent hours.
“We see that today the enemy has approached our commune, the city of Pokrovsk. It is just over 10 kilometres from the outskirts of the city” – he conveyed.
The head of local authorities said that the Russians were using a “scorched earth” tactic, which involves completely destruction of critical infrastructure, as well as any buildings located in the town.
Serhiy Dobryjak called on residents who remained in the city to evacuate immediately.
“The situation is getting worse, not better” – he concluded.

Further tactical successes of the Russians in Donbas bring them closer to achieving two important strategic goals. We are talking about taking control of the so-called “the road of life” connecting Pokrovsk with Konstantynivka and Czasiwy Yaras well as the capture of the city of Pokrovsk itself.
According to information from the DeepState analytical team, some Russian units is located approximately 5 kilometers from the “road of life”. The route is particularly important for Ukrainians due to logistical operations. Currently, the movement of columns with ammunition and food for soldiers defending Czasiwy Yar is significantly hampered.
An even bigger problem for The Armed Forces of Ukraine may be losing the city of Pokrovsk. The city, inhabited by almost 60 thousand people before the war, is an important storage point. Among other things, the town is crossed by a key railway route in logistics operations.
