Staying along the 15-kilometer coastal line of the Dnieper is permitted as of September 1 only thanks to the pass you have – this is the result of the actions of Russian troops in the occupied territory.

War in Ukraine: No-go zone along the Dnieper River results in displacement of population

According to information provided by the Ukrainian National Resistance Center it turns out that at the beginning of August the Russians established a closed zone. Entry to its territory is possible only on the basis of a document issued by the occupier.

From September 1st, a month from now, staying in the area without special permits will be punishable by severe penalties. The displacement of most of the population was supposed to have already taken place.

The National Resistance Center said that such radical solutions result from Russians' fears of potential transmitting information about enemy movements to Ukrainian troops.

“In this way, the occupiers want to avoid leak of important data. However, these hopes are in vain, because the majority of the population is not controlled by The Kremlin and is waiting for liberation, doing everything possible to bring this moment closer,” the statement reads.

Ukrainian troops in a difficult situation on the Pokrov front

The DeepState project analyses show that situation on the front in the direction of Pokrovsk is extremely difficult. Russia does not spare additional troops that are being transferred to the area, and Ukraine is losing more and more territory.

Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets noted that Ukrainian forces defending the area in the direction of Pokrovsk, they have worse equipment and protective measuresso they are not yet able to sufficiently slow down the attack of Russian troops.

Maszowiec warned that Russians are close to achieving an operationally significant breakthrough towards Pokrovsk before the end of August. Currently, enemy forces are concentrating on achieving a breakthrough near the towns of Zhelanne and Novohrodivka, also in the Donetsk region.
