On Monday, the Russians carried out intensified attacks in several regions of Ukraine. Many of them were aimed at civilian objects and unfortunately there were fatalities, including children. In the Poltava commune, a missile hit a residential building.

“A difficult evening for the Poltava region. Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of an enemy attack on a civilian house. According to preliminary information, there were five peopleincluding three children,” wrote the head of the Poltava Oblast, Philip Pronin, on the Telegram channel.

As a result of the impact, a fire broke out in the house. Thanks to the work of the relevant services, one endangered person was saved from a nearby building. Ultimately, several houses were damaged in the raid.

The Ukrainian Suspline channel, citing its own correspondent, added that Russia also attacked in Poltava two-story dormitory. According to this source, there were to be injured another 10 peopleand one person died.

Sumy Oblast was also damaged in Monday's airstrikes. The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the Russian army struck the central part of Biłopol with three air bombs. As a result, one woman was killed and two people were injured. The shells damaged residential and administrative buildings and vehicles in the area.

There was also an air raid in the city of Sumy itself. There, Russian weapons injured three people.

A serious attack in Selydiv in the Donetsk Oblast led to damage to a nine-story residential building. As the Ukraińska Pravda portal wrote, the ceiling between the fifth and sixth floors collapsed. There was a fire.

Emergency workers helped the injured residents, some of whom were unable to leave the building on their own. The injured included: an elderly couple and a 16-year-old girl.

In this case preparatory proceedings were initiated regarding violations of the laws and customs of war.
