US Foreign Secretary Antony Blinken said at a conference with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy that Russia has received its first Iranian missiles and will likely use them in the war in Ukraine soon. These are Fath-360 missiles with a range of up to 120 kilometers. In connection with this, the politician announced the preparation of more sanctions on Iran. Blinken added that in exchange for the missiles, Moscow would share technology with Iran, including in nuclear matters.
A short while later, Germany issued a joint statement on sanctions against Iran, France and the United Kingdom. Iran has also been threatened by the European Union, which is set to impose sanctions on the country. A spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell confirmed that the EU had received credible information informationthat Russia received Iranian missiles. – Such support for Russian terror directed against the people of Ukraine will be met with a decisive reaction from the EU – said the spokesman for the EU's foreign policy chief, Peter Stano.

Tehran denies sending missiles to Russia. As is known, Iran has previously supported Putin in the war in Ukraine, and Russian soldiers are using Iranian attack drones. The first consequence from the EU is to limit air traffic with Iran and terminate contracts with the state airline Iran Air. Representatives of Germany, France and Great Britain have also announced sanctions against companies and individuals directly involved in the production and delivery of missiles to Russia. The spokesman for the EU's foreign policy chief said that Josep Borrell has already proposed a preliminary package of sanctions to the member states, which must be accepted by them.
According to Peter Stano, the transfer of ballistic missiles from Iran to Russia will lead to an even greater escalation and attacks on the civilian population of Ukraine and the country's infrastructure. He recalled that the Russian attack is a violation of international law. So is any military support for Russia, and Borrell warned the authorities in Tehran about this and threatened retaliation.
