The participants of the 30th Warsaw Uprising Run, in tribute to the participants of the 1944 uprising, covered a 10-kilometer route on Saturday. According to the organizers, about four thousand people took part in the event.
The route of the run led, among others, through Bonifraterska, Miodowa, Krakowskie PrzedmieĊcie, Karowa, Browarna, Topiel, Kruczkowskiego, Ludna, Czerniakowska, Wilanowska, Rowing streets, WybrzeĊĵe KoĊciuszkowskie, Krajewskie, Zakroczymska and Konwiktorska. The organizers of the run informed that about four thousand people participated in it.
“The 30th Warsaw Uprising Run is behind us. After a year of break caused by the pandemic, we were able to pay tribute to the heroes of the Uprising again in sport. Thanks to the security services, rescuers @AKTYWNAWARSZAWA and volunteers” – wrote Renata Kaznowska, vice-president of the capital on Saturday after 23:00 on Twitter.

Warsaw Uprising
The Warsaw Uprising was the largest underground military operation in German-occupied Europe. Planned for several days, it lasted over two months.
