On Friday night, there was a police chase in the center of Warsaw. According to the witness, the driver fled in a crashed car along Aleja Jana Pawła II and Świętokrzyska. The piece led to a collision, as a result of which another car hit a traffic light.

On Friday before 10 p.m., a man who witnessed the police chase contacted the Kontakt 24 editorial office. – The car with a broken hood was driving along Jana Pawła II Avenue and then turned into Grzybowska Street. He drove with tires screeching, sparks flying from the car. There was a lot of police – the reader reported.

Collision and mown down traffic light

Our reporter Tomasz Zieliński went to the center. At the intersection of Świętokrzyska and Emilia Streets, Plater found a collision that was probably the result of a pursuit. Witnesses at the scene talked about it.

– The police were chasing a passenger car, probably a Mazda. The driver of this car caused a collision with a delivery car at the intersection of Świętokrzyska and Emilia Plater. He hit a traffic light, the reporter reported. – The driver of the delivery vehicle was examined in the ambulance and stayed at the scene. The driver of the passenger car is not at the scene, he added.

Two fire brigades, an ambulance and police are working on site.
