A dangerous situation in the old town. A five -year -old girl at a scooter failed to master the speeding vehicle. With great impetus, she hit her head on the pole of the road sign. City guards started to help.

On Sunday, March 9, a guardian and city guard, working in the Old Town, witnessed a very dangerous -looking accident. Two young children came along the steep street.

“The older boy driving ahead managed to bypass a road sign standing on the pavement. Unfortunately, a 5 -year -old girl followed by him hit a metal pole. The child fell to the ground and remained in shock” – described the city guard.

“The 5-year-old was very brave all the time”

The uniforms ran to the girl. An officer – a rescuer of qualified pre -medical assistance – assessed the child's condition, and a friend from the patrol called an ambulance. The guards stopped blood and provided a broken eyebrow, and also wounded as a result of the baby's leg.

About a quarter of an hour later the ambulance took the girl with her mother and brother to the children's hospital. “The guard participating in this intervention emphasizes that 'the 5 -year -old was very brave all the time' and, despite the great pain, allowed herself to help herself,” the city guard emphasized.

There are 100 officers in the Warsaw City Guard with the rights of a lifeguard, including six qualified paramedics.
