In Bemowo, the driver of a passenger car hit a cyclist. The woman was taken to hospital. The driver was drunk. He has been stopped.
The incident occurred on Saturday at the exit from the gas station to Lazurowa Street. – At 1:18 p.m. we received a report about a cyclist being hit by a Toyota driver. The woman suffered injuries and was taken to hospital – Rafał Rutkowski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us.
Police: the driver was drunk
The policeman added that the driver was tested for alcohol. It turned out he was drunk. – The tests showed 0.76 milligrams per liter (about 1.6 per mille – ed.) of alcohol in the driver’s body. He was arrested. Police activities are ongoing, Rutkowski added.
