A series of poisoning in the Nowowiejski Hospital

Two people were detained in connection with the matter of poisoning at the Nowowiejski Hospital in Warsaw and the death of one of the patients. The prosecutor's office informs that suspects in this case: the 22-year-old and 39-year-old were temporarily arrested for three months. They both had strong intoxicants with them.

Detention for two people

The prosecutor pointed out that events that were the subject of the proceedings took place at the third branch of the Nowowiejski Hospital. – On April 12, four patients with symptoms of severe intoxicated substances were hospitalized. One of the patients died despite intensive rescue. Determining the cause of the death of the deceased and determining which substances have been adopted by the hospital's patients will be possible after autopsy and toxicological tests – the prosecutor emphasized.

Prosecutor Skiba also noted that in view of both suspects, the District Court for Warsaw-ÅšródmieÅ›cie took into account the proposals of the prosecutor and applied preventive measures in the form of detention on remand for three months. – The procedure is multi -threaded and is at the initial stage. Due to the good of the preparatory proceedings, we do not provide broader information in this matter – he concluded.

Several people with symptoms of poisoning and resuscitation at the command

Recall: on Saturday morning A 37-year-old patient died in a psychiatric hospital at Nowowiejska in Warsaw, after a long rescue operation. At the same time, rescuers fought for the life of a second unconscious person from the same unit. A 22-year-old man was hospitalized at Lindley. A few hours later, the staff of the Nowowiejski Hospital again called an ambulance, this time to the unconscious 18-year-old and another patient. Symptoms of all people indicated poisoning with drugs or intoxicants of unknown origin.

Policemen from Śródmieście soon detained a 22-year-old man who was previously examined in two different hospitals. According to our findings, the detained person felt bad and was resuscitated at the command.

– There were no contraindications based on the opinions of doctors regarding further activities with the man – explained the younger aspirant Jakub Pacyniak, spokesman for the downtown police. According to the officer's account, after being discharged from the hospital at Lindley and “preliminary activities in the command”, the 22-year-old was further examined in the hospital at Solec Street.

When he was detained again with the assistance of police officers, he went to the command at Wilcza, he lost consciousness. – Policemen helped him, a medical emergency team arrived, which transported the man to the hospital – said Jakub Pacyniak.
