There was a serious accident at the intersection of Woronicza and Aleja Niepodległości. A motorcyclist collided with a passenger car. According to the police, the driver of the two-wheeler was taken to hospital. He was unconscious.
The collision took place at the intersection of Woronicza Street and Aleja Niepodległości. – A motorcyclist collided with a Volkswagen Passat. It looks like a fairly serious accident – the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. The motorcycle hit the side of the car and you can see that the driver of the two-wheeler flew about five meters away, because his shoes, helmet and other things are lying there – described tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Tomasz Zieliński.
– At 7.40 we received a report about a collision of a Yamaha motorcycle with a Volkswagen passenger car. The unconscious motorcyclist was taken to hospital by the medical crew. The driver of the car was sober – said Gabriela Putyra from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
The fire brigade, the police, bus supervision and the Public Transport Authority worked on the site. There were great difficulties in traffic. – The passage along Aleja Niepodległości towards Ursynów is completely blocked. Woronicza Street is also impassable, going from Puławska towards Wołoska. We will not go straight to Woronicz, going from Wołoska towards Puławska. We have to turn right towards Ursynów – warned Zieliński.
