Drogów policemen detained a driver speeding at 136 kilometers per hour for inspection. It turned out that Mercedes ran a 16-year-old without a driving license. The car was to be picked up from the intervention of his brother. When he appeared, the officers discovered that he was the wanted person.
The intervention took place on Saturday at Jagiellońska Street. The car moving at excessive speed was noticed by road officers, patrolling the streets in an unmarked police car equipped with a video recorder. “Mercedes driver in a place where a speed speed of 60 km/h applies, he moved as much as 136 km/h, which is 76 km/h too much” – says in a communiqué of the road traffic department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
The brother was wanted
The police detained Mercedes for control. As they report, a 16-year-old sat behind his steering wheel. The boy did not have the right to drive motor vehicles. For this reason, another person was called to pick up the car.
After some time, a teenager's brother appeared at the intervention site. “After checking it in police systems, it turned out that he was wanted,” inform officers.
Ultimately, his mother arrived after the 16-year-old, and the vehicle was handed over to another person.
Caught once again
“The officers determined that this was not the first such incident of the young driver. Last year he not only drove the vehicle without authorization, but also did not stop for road control,” we read in the WRD KSP communication.
The case will now be dealt with by a family court.
