The event took place on June 8, 2022 in Warsaw’s Stegny. A two-year-old girl fell from the ninth floor of a hotel on Mangalia Street. As we have already reported, the Ukrainian mother of the child was working at the hotel.

She left her daughter in the care of her aunt. The 23-year-old was supposed to be in the toilet when the child fell out of the open window. Both she and the baby’s mother were sober.

Two weeks after the accident, the girl’s aunt heard allegations in the case. The woman was charged with “exposing a minor girl to immediate danger by being a person who had a duty of care.” She faced three months to five years in prison. She was placed under police supervision. She couldn’t leave the country.
