On Wednesday morning, an accident occurred at the waste incineration plant at Zabraniecka Street. One of the employees was taken to hospital with a head injury.
We asked the fire brigade about the situation. – Before 8 a.m. we received information about a man crushed by an iron bolt. It turned out that he had been hit on the head by something that had fallen from the scaffolding. We went there to help the emergency medical team and to check the safety of the scaffolding, said senior midshipman Bogdan Smoter from the Warsaw Fire Brigade.
According to the police, the incident took place at a garbage incinerator. – One of the employees was crushed by a heavy object on its premises. He was taken to hospital with a head injury, said Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
