There was an accident on the S8 route, at the height of Szeligowska. As our reporter informs, there was no free ambulance, so a helicopter of the Polish Medical Air Rescue landed on the spot. There are great difficulties in traffic in both directions.
As reported by tvnwarszawa.pl Tomasz Zieliński, the collision took place on the S8 route between the Mory and Blizne Łaszczyński junctions on the road towards Białystok.
– One car ran over the other in the left lane. The fire brigade, the police and the ambulance service were dispatched to the site, but there is no free ambulance, so a helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue landed on the spot. One injured person was taken to hospital with eye injury – reports Zieliński.
The information is confirmed by Kazimierz Jaworski, the press officer of the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in the western poviat of Warsaw: – After 8.30 there was a collision of two cars on the S8 route, one person was injured. She was transported to the hospital by an LPR helicopter.
The route was blocked at the time of the helicopter landing. However, there are still major difficulties in both directions of traffic.
The paramedics are protesting. The services of the Mazowieckie voivode stated that 21 ambulances in Warsaw did not leave for work on Monday. Due to the lack of emergency medical teams available, The LPR landed at Bankowy Square.
