In connection with the beating of Marcin Bosak, the police detained two people. As far as we know, the materials regarding the case have already been sent to the prosecutor’s office. The actor was beaten on Friday by – as he described it at the time – several drivers of one of the transport companies for the application.
– Notice has been received. Policemen from the Warsaw Police Headquarters together with policemen from the Warsaw-Ochota District Police Headquarters detained two people for the case. Today, the materials of the case have been handed over to the prosecutor’s office – Deputy Commissioner Małgorzata Wersocka from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us on Monday afternoon.
“I got some solid bangs”
The actor described the situation on Friday in a short recording posted on Instagram. He showed abrasions and bruises on his face, which he claimed he had suffered as a result of being beaten by several men. The reason for the aggression was to be his reaction to the behavior of the driver who “almost ran over” his son. “When I protested against this conduct, a fight began, it is not known where four or five of his colleagues came from and I got a solid bang,” the actor said in the recording.
As we have established, the beating took place in Ochota. In the recording, published two hours later, the actor said that he was at the police. In the next video, which appeared on Saturday, he said that he had testified at the district headquarters at Opaczewska.
Comment from Bolt
Initially, the actor claimed that the attackers were Uber drivers. But the company has denied these allegations. The actor admitted to making a mistake and, citing a witness, said that Bolt’s drivers had beaten him.
We asked the company for comment. In a statement, she wrote that “the incident should not have happened.” “However, we would like to point out that we cannot talk about the Bolt driver or drivers in this situation, because until the perpetrators are identified, it cannot be determined that it was a person cooperating with our platform, or whether the driver was driving with our application at the time of the incident” – he reserved in Bolt’s statement. And he assured about intolerance of aggressive behavior and violence.
