Warsaw. An accident on the boulevards, the man fell into the Vistula, resuscitation

On the boulevard under the Poniatowski bridge, the man fell into the Vistula. He was caught by policemen from the river police station. He was resuscitated, he was hospitalized.

The incident occurred on Monday around 21. The services were informed by witnesses who saw a man falling from the boulevard to the river.

– The man was fished out of the water by the river police. He was unconscious. On the shore, firefighters and then a medical rescue team conducted resuscitation. It lasted about 40 minutes. The unconscious man was hospitalized – found out Artur Węgrzynowicz, a reporter of tvnwarszawa.pl.

How did the accident happen? “According to witnesses, this man went towards the river for the need, suddenly sank from the shore and fell into the water,” the reporter determined.

Information about the rescue operation in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl is confirmed by the younger aspirant Aleksandra Wasiak from the KSP police station.

– A man around the age of 35 was taken from water by a motorboat patrol in the Poniatowski Bridge, was unconscious and cool – says the policewoman. – Policemen transported the victim ashore, where the rescue operation was conducted by the fire brigade and the emergency medical team – he adds.
