“Mr. Tomek, I need money, I have nothing to eat.” They were supposed to poison to get apartments
Three Warsaw patrons and two notaries were allegedly used by a criminal group accused of poisoning at least five people to take over their apartments and rob their bank accounts. The victims died as a result of poisoning. An indictment against lawyers has been brought to court, and the founders of the group – two brothers – are already on trial.
- Members of the “poisoners' gang” are accused of five murders and six attempted murders. As the prosecutor's office says – that's all they managed to prove. The trial of the group's members is coming to an end, and its founders face life imprisonment.
- The “gang of poisoners” was allegedly assisted by patrons and notaries in taking over the apartments – their trial has not yet started, but the lawyers are facing charges that could result in imprisonment for up to 10 years.
- Tvn24.pl obtained an indictment consisting of several volumes, which describes in detail the methods of operation of the “gang of poisoners”. The details are shocking.
It was the capital's policemen from the Department for Combating Criminal Terror and Homicide who obtained the lead that led to the discovery of a group that allegedly committed at least five murders between 2014 and 2021.
– There were probably over twenty poisonings and murders, maybe much more. The indictment covers only those cases that we were able to prove. The crimes concerned people who are invisible to society and are on the margins. Hence, it could have lasted for years – says tvn24.pl one of the investigators working on the case.
