Not only appearance and functionality
– I am very curious what investors and architects will report this time. And what the inhabitants of Warsaw will point out. The quality of buildings and public spaces is getting higher every year. We evaluate not only the appearance and functionality of a given investment or its integration into the surroundings and landscape. We also check the quality of pro-ecological solutions. We are examining the accessibility of public facilities and spaces for people of different ages and with disabilities, says Marlena Happach, city architect and vice-president of the competition jury, quoted in the press release.
When selecting the best projects, the jury will be supported by experts from the teams of the Mayor of Warsaw’s plenipotentiary for accessibility and from the Sustainable Architecture Club of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects.
