To encourage the use of public transport and return to the neon trend – as before the war and in the 1960s – a new, illuminated slogan appeared on the facade of the building of Miejskie Zakłady Autobusowe.

“MZA we move Warsaw” – a neon sign with this slogan appeared on the MZA building at Włościańska Street.

The company praised the new idea on Facebook: “We have been working on an important project for several months. Finally, we can boast a neon that adorns the industrial facade of our company headquarters. The installation, several meters long, can be admired from Włościańska Street” – we read in the post.

Neons as before

We asked Adam Stawicki, MZA spokesman for details. – This is not only a very attractive thing, but also refers to Warsaw as a metropolis before the war and in the 1960s, when there were a lot of these neon signs in the capital. We believe that similar ones should keep coming back. Hence the idea for such a neon to appear in our country – explained the spokesman.

He added that the inscription is also a promotional slogan of MZA. – First of all, we encourage you to use public transport, and secondly – we are in line with this trend, so that neon signs appear in Warsaw as such indicators of metropolises – he said.
