Warsaw. At the airport he showed counterfeit documents

At the Chopin Airport in Warsaw, a 42-year-old who came from Georgia came to the border control. He claimed that he only flew to Poland to buy a car. During the inspection, however, he showed counterfeit documents. The man heard the allegations.

In connection with the declared goal of travel, a foreigner was asked to provide documents confirming his driving license. The man showed a Ukrainian driving license, examination card and a certificate of completion of driver training.

“The documents, however, raised doubts of the Border Guard officer as to their authenticity. Therefore, the foreigner was directed to the second border control line. In the course of further activities, the officers of the Border Procedure Team confirmed that the documents were counterfeit like the originals, as evidenced by the incorrect security in them” – said the spokeswoman of the Vistula Border Guard unit Dagmara Bielec.

Allegations and proceedings

A citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland, issuing an appropriate administrative decision. At the same time, preparatory proceedings were initiated, under which the foreigner was accused of attempted to cross the state border contrary to the provisions – trickery, using forged documents.

The man was questioned as a suspect. He did not confess to the alleged act and refused to explain. He returned to Georgia.
