At the intersection of Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska streets, an ambulance on the signal hit a pedestrian. According to the police, the young man was taken to hospital.
The incident took place on Monday before 8 pm. An ambulance hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing near the intersection of Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska Streets. The police are there to explain the circumstances of the incident.
– We received the application at 19.59. The preliminary findings of the police indicate that the ambulance on the signals was moving as an emergency vehicle along the tram track. At the address of Marszałkowska 136 a young man ran to the ambulance driving, informed Bartłomiej Śniadała from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
He added that the man was taken to the hospital. – Both the hit and the ambulance driver were sober – said Śniadała.
