Policemen from Ochota intervened in the hospital at ul. Lindley where a drunk patient hit a paramedic in the face of the Hospital Emergency Department. The 62-year-old has heard today an allegation of insulting and violation of the bodily integrity of a public official.

We asked for details at the “Meditrans” Provincial Ambulance Station. Around 19 o'clock, the ambulance and the police received a call to a drunk man on one of the streets of Warsaw.
The patient went to the ambulance and the police was taken to the SOR at Lindleya Street. – He had a head injury. In the meantime, the patient fell asleep. The ambulance was waiting for him to be admitted to the ward. The rescuers released policemen – described Piotr Owczarski from “Meditrans”.
After 1.5 hours, the man woke up. – He realized that he was on board the ambulance, he began to dig at the door, he was aggressive. He wanted to get out of the vehicle. Then a paramedic entered the action, who wanted to calm the man. Then the patient hit the face of a paramedic. The lifeguard is shocked, the impact can be seen on the skin – said Owczarski.
He hit one of the rescuers in the face
Policemen detained a 62-year-old in connection with a violation of the bodily integrity of a public official. They performed the necessary activities with him. – An alcohol content showed that the man had over 1.5 per mil of alcohol in the breath – said aspirant Małgorzata Gębczyńska from the Police Headquarters in Ochota in Warsaw.

The man spent the night in a room for detainees.
The next day, policemen gathered the necessary evidence. After the activities, the 62-year-old heard the charge of insulting and violating the bodily integrity of a public official.
