Warsaw. Attacks on women in Bemowo, suspect arrested


A 54-year-old man was detained by police officers from Warsaw's Bemowo district for allegedly breaking into a hair salon and hitting an employee in the head. The police determined that on the same day the suspect spat in the face of another woman and hit her, and threatened another. The man has already heard the charges.

The case began when a woman reported to the police station in Bemowo and told a detailed story about the attack. In the evening, a stranger entered the hair salon where she worked, approached her and hit her twice in the head. After the attack, he quickly left.

“He spat in the woman's face and hit her”

– The police questioned the injured party and determined that on the same day the same man violated the physical integrity of another woman, a store employee. The perpetrator spat in the woman's face and hit her in the arm, and in another place threatened to kill the woman – informed Senior Inspector Marta Sulowska from the Bemowo police station.

The detectives located and detained the aggressor. It turned out that he was a recidivist. He had already been convicted of a crime against life and health.

Three charges and three months of detention

The detainee was charged with three counts, two of violating personal inviolability and making criminal threats of a hooligan nature. At the request of the prosecutor's office, the suspect was temporarily arrested for three months by court order.
