A series of car burglaries took place in one of the underground parking lots in Ochota. When the police arrived at the scene, the suspect tried to confuse them by changing his clothes.

Recently, a series of break-ins into passenger cars took place in the underground parking lot of one of the shopping malls at Aleje Jerozolimskie. The policemen took action. Their information showed that the perpetrator, in addition to causing significant financial losses, also committed theft. While conducting activities near the scene of the incident, they noticed a man whose description resembled the perpetrator.

– The 39-year-old was nervously and hurriedly changing his clothes next to his car. The police seized the suspect’s possession of a rod, several centimeters long, which was used to break car windows. By his behavior, the perpetrator caused damage amounting to several thousand zlotys and stole property from vehicles – said Staff Sergeant Jakub Pacyniak from the Warsaw III District Police Headquarters in a statement.

He heard the charges

The detained man was taken to the Warsaw III District Police Headquarters. After the police took action, he was taken to a police cell. The next day he was charged with three burglary charges.

The court agreed to the request of the Warsaw Ochota District Prosecutor’s Office, imposing pre-trial arrest on the 39-year-old Georgian citizen for a period of three months. The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warsaw Ochota District Prosecutor’s Office.
