Sunday, September 17 marks the 84th anniversary of the Soviet aggression against Poland. The main celebrations will take place in front of the monument to the Fallen and Murdered in the East at Muranowska Street. Buses will run on changed routes. A gathering in front of the Russian embassy is also planned that day.
On Sunday, Muranowska Street will be closed to traffic along its entire length from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. – during this time, buses no. 116 and 518 will run on detour routes.
Lines 116, 518: towards Chomiczówka, Nowodworów: from pl. Krasińskich: Świętojerska (left) – Gen. Andersa and continue along your routes; towards Wilanów and Pl. Trzech Krzyży: from the viaduct of Gen. Andersa Street at the Gdański Railway Station: Gen. Andersa, Dawidowskiego, Słomińskiego, Międzyparkowa, Bonifraterska and further along their routes.
Buses no. 116 and 518 will also stop at the Świętojerska 02 stop (towards Chomiczówka and Nowodwory).
Assembly in front of the Russian embassy
Also scheduled for Sunday is a public gathering in front of the Russian Embassy at 49 Belwederska Street. The organizers have planned it from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In the event of a large number of participants, the police may decide to close Belwederska Street to traffic. Then buses no. 116, 131, 166, 168, 180, 503, 519 and 522 will be diverted.
On Monday at 11.45-13.15 a public gathering was reported at the monument to the Fallen and Murdered in the East. If it is not possible to travel, buses no. 116 and 518 will be diverted to the same detour routes as the day before.
