The man who brought an artillery shell to Krakowskie Przedmieście during the assembly on Monday heard the charges. He faces eight years in prison.
“The prosecutor presented the detainee with accusations that he had brought an immediate danger to the life and health of many people and property in large sizes in the form of an explosion of explosives,” the press department of the National Prosecutor’s Office, which took over the investigation, informed.
The incident took place on Monday after 7pm. During the March of Remembrance of the Victims of Genocide in Volhynia, at the height of the building at Krakowskie Przedmieście 64, Łukasz K. placed a missile on the sidewalk among the crowd. The video of the incident found its way to the Internet.
“Does he want to detonate something here?” Commented people attending the meeting, seeing a man with an eccentric appearance. After a while, they seemed to realize the danger. Hear screams “please take this gentleman out”, “police”, “move away from this”.
