A 19-year-old US citizen flew to Chopin Airport from Tel Aviv. While waiting in line for passport control, she took pictures with her mobile phone. She was fined for it.

The traveler apparently was not aware that there are areas at the airport that cannot be photographed. The woman pulled out her phone and photographed the passport control desk. The officers of the Warsaw-Okęcie border guard station intervened. A 19-year-old American was fined.

“It is forbidden to photograph and film mining and pyrotechnic reconnaissance activities and rescue operations, passenger and baggage security checkpoints, as well as passport and document control points, without permission issued by the manager” – reminds in the message the Nadwiślański Border Guard Unit.
