The services intervened on Wednesday evening in Ursus. There was a collision between a passenger car and a bicycle at the roundabout. The driver of the bike was taken to hospital. According to the police, he was under the influence of alcohol.
The accident occurred at the roundabout at the intersection of Orląt Lwowskich and Warszawska streets. – The report concerned a collision between a Chrysler passenger car and a bicycle – Jacek Wiśniewski from the press department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us.
Police officers on site explained the details of the incident. – The cyclist was transported to hospital. He had 0.92 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air, Wiśniewski said.
There were traffic disruptions at the accident site. Traffic jams were forming.
