Accident at the Salomea junction

On the S7 route, near the Opacz junction, there was a collision of four passenger cars and a city bus. An air ambulance helicopter landed on site. Drivers will experience difficulties when leaving the capital.

The police received a report of a collision on the Salomea-Wolica (S7) route at 2.20 p.m. As Staff Sergeant Paweł Chmura from the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us, four cars and a city bus, traveling without passengers as a technical crossing, collided on the road towards Nadarzyn.

The police, fire brigade and ambulance were called to the scene. An air ambulance helicopter also landed, which caused a temporary suspension of traffic.

– Three people were injured. They were passengers of a passenger car. An LPR helicopter landed on site, but did not pick up anyone. The injured were transported to a nearby hospital for observation in a wheeled ambulance – says aspirant MichaÅ‚ SkÅ‚adanowski, press officer of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Pruszków.

Drivers traveling towards Nadarzyn will experience difficulties. Police say two of the three lanes are blocked. According to the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the traffic jam may last until approximately 5 p.m.
